Its business is fundraising, and its success at raking in the cash is
based on its ability to sell gullible people on the idea that present-day

to take the right to vote away from white people, at least until we come

to our senses. Seriously, I just don't think we can be trusted to exercise

it responsibly anymore.

I give you Exhibit A: The last eight years.

In 2000, Bush-Cheney stole the election, got us attacked, and then got us

into two no-exit wars. Four years later, white people reelected them. Is not

the repetition of the same behavior over and over again with the

expectation of a different outcome the very definition of insanity? (It is, I

looked it up.)

Exhibit B is any given Sarah Palin rally.

Exhibit C would be Ed Rendell and John Murtha, who in separate moments

of on-the-record candor they would come to regret, pointing out that

there are plenty of people in Pennsylvania who just cannot bring

themselves to pull the lever for a black man - no matter what they

tell pollsters.

These people are ruining things for the rest of us white people who are

ready to move on. Sure, they have their reasons, chimerical though they

may be: He's a Muslim. He's a terrorist. He's a Muslim terrorist. He's going

to fire all the white people and give their jobs to blacks.

But those are just the little white lies these people allow themselves to

be told, a self-induced cognitive dissonance that lets them avoid saying the

unsayable: I cannot pull the lever for a black man.

Hey, some people just aren't ready yet, even the governor said so. Just

like some people aren't ready yet for computers or setting the clock on

the VCR.

Or, to hear Murtha tell it, some people - specifically some people in

Western Pennsylvania - will never be ready. But the fact is, if you did a

statewide head count of racists, you'd find just as many in eastern

Pennsylvania as you would in the western part of the state.

That's why this ban on white people voting I'm proposing has got to be

statewide. And I'm sorry to say, it's going to have to include all white

people, even those who would vote for Obama, because you can't just

let some white people vote. That would be unfair.

By this point, you either think I am joking or are calling me an elitist. I

assure you I am neither. OK, maybe a little of both. But it wasn't always

like this. I come from the Coal Belt, from that Alabamian hinterland

between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, as per James Carville's famous

formulation.

I am, in fact, just two generations out of the coal mines that blackened

the lungs of my grandfather, leaving him disabled, despondent and,

finally,dead at the ripe old age of 54.

So, understand that I am saying all this for the good of the country and,

in fact, for the good of those hard-working white people that Hillary used

to pander to.

I know those people, I come from them. They are not some shameful

abstract demographic to be brushed under the rug of euphemism by

Wolf Blitzer and his ilk.

I have broken kielbasa with those people. I went to school with their

children. I have gone to Sunday Mass with a deer-hunter hangover with

those people. They are bitter with good reason, and they are armed

because they are scared. They mean well, but they are easily spooked.

I fear for what is to become of them after the campaigns leave town for

the last time, and Scranton and Allentown and Carlisle go back to being

the long dark chicken dance of the national soul they were before the

media showed up.

electricians, carpenters, high-tech workers. They call my office all the time. Hundreds

of thousands of Americans are losing their jobs to immigrants, both legal and

Councillor Jahangir Hanif had been unfairly lambasted for

showing his children how to use the gun during a trip to the

Kashmir border.

He argued that it amounted to 'thinly disguised racism'(What

Isn't today ?) to oppose the use of guns in other countries

where they may form an integral part of the culture.

The Scottish Nationalist ( Nationalist ?) MP also

criticised his party for suspending Mr Hanif, who has

been dubbed the Kalashnikov councillor, claiming the

sentence was unduly harsh.

The comments were acutely embarrassing for Alex Salmond,

the SNP leader, who yesterday came under attack at First

Minister's Questions at Holyrood for failing to condemn them.

Mr Salmond admitted to reading internet blogs about the scandal,

but not a letter from councillor Hanif's daughter in which she had

pleaded with him to throw her father out of the party.

Mr Mason launched his extraordinary defence of Mr Hanif's

actions after being informed of the letter's content by a local

newspaper.

The Glasgow East MP said: "The repeated attacks on the

SNP's Councillor Hanif are coming across as thinly disguised

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico (AP) — A Mexican prosecutor says
an Oregon tourist drowned in his own blood while in police custody.

Sam Botner of Yoncalla, Oregon, was arrested on Aug. 27 in the
resort of San Jose del Cabo and was later found dead in a jail
cell. Prosecutors say a surveillance video shows officers
beating Botner.

In an interview Thursday with The Associated Press, state prosecutor
Fernando Gonzalez said Botner suffered a ruptured spleen and then
died of asphyxiation after internal bleeding blocked his airway.

Six police officers are under house arrest in the death.

Prosecutors have two weeks to determine whether they will bring
charges in the case.

Three days after Francis M. Hernandez drove into Patricia Guntharp's

pickup, killing her and two others, Guntharp's family wanted to know

why a man with 16 arrests in five years wasn't already behind bars.

"Our system is messed up. It is mind-blowing. You mean to tell me

that this guy was still out on the street?" asked Richard Allen Gagne,

32, Patricia Guntharp's son.

Hernandez's record includes forgery, assault, theft, fraud and driving

under restraint. He was arrested in a July traffic stop and charged with

resisting police and other offenses.

Immigration officials believe Hernandez is not a U.S. citizen and could

be "deportable," Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman

Carl Rusnok said Sunday.

ICE first became aware of Hernandez, whose Colorado Bureau of

Investigation records show 11 aliases and several places and dates

of birth, after he was arrested Thursday, Rusnok said.

ICE has placed a hold on him, and he will be transferred to federal

custody if he is released from jail.

"Why in the world do they allow somebody to stay on the road when

they could have done something about that?" asked Robert Guntharp,

56, Patricia Guntharp's husband.

mayors groan in private that their biggest and most worrisome

problem is the crime rate among Negroes.

In 1,551 U.S. cities, according to the FBI tally for 1956, Negroes, making

up 10% of the U.S. population, accounted for about 30% of all arrests, and

60% of the arrests for crimes involving violence or threat of bodily harm—

murder, non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated

assault. In one city after another, the figures—where they are not

hidden or suppressed by politicians—reveal a shocking pattern. Items:

New York (14% Negro). Of the prisoners confined in houses of detention

last year to await court disposition of their cases, 44% of the males and

65% of the females were Negroes.

Chicago (15% Negro). In 1956 twice as many Negroes as whites—1,366

to 679—were arrested on charges of murder, non-negligent manslaughter,

rape and robbery.

Detroit (25% Negro). Two out of three prisoners held in the Wayne County

jail are Negroes. Last month 62% of. the defendants presented for trial in

Recorder's Court were Negroes. Of last year's 25,216 arrests resulting in

prosecution, excluding traffic cases, Negroes accounted for 12,919.

Los Angeles (13% Negro). In 1956 Negroes accounted for 28% of all

arrests, and 48% of the arrests for homicide, rape, aggravated assault,

robbery, burglary, larceny and auto theft.

San Francisco (7% Negro). The victims in 896 of last year's 1,564

recorded robbery cases reported that the assailants were Negroes.

Negro leaders sometimes argue passionately that arrest

statistics wildly distort the comparative incidence of

crime among Negroes and whites because cops are more

likely to arrest Negroes for petty crimes or on mere

suspicion. Protests Executive Editor Charles Wartman of

Detroit's Michigan Chronicle, a Negro weekly: "The number

of Negroes booked is at least partially indicative of

subconscious if not conscious racial persecution on the

part of police officers."

I'd like you to read this famous story and think
about whether Nietzsche wasn't on to something
when he criticized the naive idea of human equality.

THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal. They weren’t
only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which
way. Nobody was smarter than anybody else. Nobody was better
looking than anybody else. Nobody was stronger or quicker than
anybody else. All this equality was due to the 211th, 212th, and
213th Amendments to the Constitution, and to the unceasing
vigilance of agents of the United States Handicapper General.

Some things about living still weren’t quite right, though. April, for
instance, still drove people crazy by not being springtime. And it
was in that clammy month that the H-G men took George and
Hazel Bergeron’s fourteen-year-old son, Harrison, away.

It was tragic, all right, but George and Hazel couldn’t think about
it very hard. Hazel had a perfectly average intelligence, which
meant she couldn’t think about anything except in short
bursts. And George, while his intelligence was way above
normal, had a little mental handicap radio in his ear. He was
required by law to wear it at all times. It was tuned to a government
transmitter. Every twenty seconds or so, the transmitter would
send out some sharp noise to keep people like George from
taking unfair advantage of their brains.

George and Hazel were watching television. There were tears on
Hazel’s cheeks, but she’d forgotten for the moment what they

were about.On the television screen were ballerinas.

A buzzer sounded in George’s head. His thoughts fled in panic, like
bandits from a burglar alarm.

“That was a real pretty dance, that dance they just did,” said Hazel.

“Huh?” said George.

“That dance – it was nice,” said Hazel.

“Yup,” said George. He tried to think a little about the
ballerinas. They weren’t really very good – no better than
anybody else would have been, anyway. They were burdened
with sashweights and bags of birdshot, and their faces were
masked, so that no one, seeing a free and graceful gesture or
a pretty face, would feel like something the cat drug in. George
was toying with the vague notion that maybe dancers shouldn’t
be handicapped. But he didn’t get very far with it before another
noise in his ear radio scattered his thoughts.

George winced. So did two out of the eight ballerinas.

Hazel saw him wince. Having no mental handicap herself she had
to ask George what the latest sound had been.

“Sounded like somebody hitting a milk bottle with a ball peen
hammer,” said George.

“I’d think it would be real interesting, hearing all the different
sounds,” said Hazel, a little envious. “All the things they think up.”

“Um,” said George.

“Only, if I was Handicapper General, you know what I would do?”
said Hazel. Hazel, as a matter of fact, bore a strong resemblance
to the Handicapper General, a woman named Diana Moon
Glampers. “If I was Diana Moon Glampers,” said Hazel, “I’d have
chimes on Sunday – just chimes. Kind of in honor of religion.”

“I could think, if it was just chimes,” said George.

“Well – maybe make ‘em real loud,” said Hazel. “I think I’d make
a good Handicapper General.”

“Good as anybody else,” said George.

“Who knows better’n I do what normal is?” said Hazel.

“Right,” said George. He began to think glimmeringly about his
abnormal son who was now in jail, about Harrison, but a twenty-
one-gun salute in his head stopped that.

“Boy!” said Hazel, “that was a doozy, wasn’t it?”

It was such a doozy that George was white and trembling and
tears stood on the rims of his red eyes. Two of the eight ballerinas
had collapsed to the studio floor, were holding their temples.

“All of a sudden you look so tired,” said Hazel. “Why don’t you stretch
out on the sofa, so’s you can rest your handicap bag on the pillows,
honeybunch.” She was referring to the forty-seven pounds of
birdshot in canvas bag, which was padlocked around George’s
neck. “Go on and rest the bag for a little while,” she said. “I don’t
care if you’re not equal to me for a while.”

George weighed the bag with his hands. “I don’t mind it,” he
said. “I don’t notice it any more. It’s just a part of me.

“You been so tired lately – kind of wore out,” said Hazel. “If there was
just some way we could make a little hole in the bottom of the bag,
and just take out a few of them lead balls. Just a few.”

“Two years in prison and two thousand dollars fine for every ball I
took out,” said George. “I don’t call that a bargain.”

“If you could just take a few out when you came home from work,”
said Hazel. “I mean – you don’t compete with anybody around
here. You just set around.”

“If I tried to get away with it,” said George, “then other people’d get
away with it and pretty soon we’d be right back to the dark ages
again, with everybody competing against everybody else. You
wouldn’t like that, would you?”

“I’d hate it,” said Hazel.

“There you are,” said George. “The minute people start cheating
on laws, what do you think happens to society?”

If Hazel hadn’t been able to come up with an answer to this
question, George couldn’t have supplied one. A siren was going
off in his head.

“Reckon it’d fall all apart,” said Hazel.

“What would?” said George blankly.

“Society,” said Hazel uncertainly. “Wasn’t that what you just said?”

“Who knows?” said George.

The television program was suddenly interrupted for a news
bulletin. It wasn’t clear at first as to what the bulletin was about,
since the announcer, like all announcers, had a serious speech
impediment. For about half a minute, and in a state of high
excitement, the announcer tried to say, “Ladies and gentlemen – ”

He finally gave up, handed the bulletin to a ballerina to read.

“That’s all right –” Hazel said of the announcer, “he tried. That’s
the big thing. He tried to do the best he could with what God gave
him. He should get a nice raise for trying so hard.”

“Ladies and gentlemen” said the ballerina, reading the bulletin. She
must have been extraordinarily beautiful, because the mask she
wore was hideous. And it was easy to see that she was the strongest
and most graceful of all the dancers, for her handicap bags were
as big as those worn by two-hundred-pound men.

And she had to apologize at once for her voice, which was a very
unfair voice for a woman to use. Her voice was a warm, luminous,
timeless melody. “Excuse me – ” she said, and she began again,
making her voice absolutely uncompetitive.

“Harrison Bergeron, age fourteen,” she said in a grackle squawk,
“has just escaped from jail, where he was held on suspicion of
plotting to overthrow the government. He is a genius and an
athlete, is under–handicapped, and should be regarded as
extremely dangerous.”

A police photograph of Harrison Bergeron was flashed on the
screen – upside down, then sideways, upside down again, then
right side up. The picture showed the full length of Harrison
against a background calibrated in feet and inches. He was
exactly seven feet tall.

The rest of Harrison’s appearance was Halloween and
hardware. Nobody had ever worn heavier handicaps. He had
outgrown hindrances faster than the H–G men could think them
up. Instead of a little ear radio for a mental handicap, he wore a
tremendous pair of earphones, and spectacles with thick wavy
lenses. The spectacles were intended to make him not only
half blind, but to give him whanging headaches besides.

Scrap metal was hung all over him. Ordinarily, there was a
certain symmetry, a military neatness to the handicaps issued
to strong people, but Harrison looked like a walking junkyard. In
the race of life, Harrison carried three hundred pounds.

And to offset his good looks, the H–G men required that he wear
at all times a red rubber ball for a nose, keep his eyebrows
shaved off, and cover his even white teeth with black caps at
snaggle–tooth random.

“If you see this boy,” said the ballerina, “do not – I repeat, do
not – try to reason with him.”

There was the shriek of a door being torn from its hinges.

Screams and barking cries of consternation came from the television
set. The photograph of Harrison Bergeron on the screen jumped
again and again, as though dancing to the tune of an earthquake.

George Bergeron correctly identified the earthquake, and well he
might have – for many was the time his own home had danced to
the same crashing tune. “My God –” said George, “that must
be Harrison!”

The realization was blasted from his mind instantly by the sound
of an automobile collision in his head.

When George could open his eyes again, the photograph of Harrison
was gone. A living, breathing Harrison filled the screen.

Clanking, clownish, and huge, Harrison stood in the center of the
studio. The knob of the uprooted studio door was still in his
hand. Ballerinas, technicians, musicians, and announcers cowered
on their knees before him, expecting to die.

“I am the Emperor!” cried Harrison. “Do you hear? I am the
Emperor! Everybody must do what I say at once!” He stamped
his foot and the studio shook.

“Even as I stand here –” he bellowed, “crippled, hobbled, sickened –
I am a greater ruler than any man who ever lived! Now watch
me become what I can become!”

Harrison tore the straps of his handicap harness like wet tissue
paper, tore straps guaranteed to support five thousand pounds.

Harrison’s scrap–iron handicaps crashed to the floor.

Harrison thrust his thumbs under the bar of the padlock that
secured his head harness. The bar snapped like celery. Harrison
smashed his headphones and spectacles against the wall.

He flung away his rubber–ball nose, revealed a man that would
have awed Thor, the god of thunder.

“I shall now select my Empress!” he said, looking down on the
cowering people. “Let the first woman who dares rise to her feet
claim her mate and her throne!”

A moment passed, and then a ballerina arose, swaying like a willow.

Harrison plucked the mental handicap from her ear, snapped off
her physical handicaps with marvelous delicacy. Last of all, he
removed her mask.

She was blindingly beautiful.

“Now” said Harrison, taking her hand, “shall we show the people
the meaning of the word dance? Music!” he commanded.

The musicians scrambled back into their chairs, and Harrison
stripped them of their handicaps, too. “Play your best,” he told
them, “and I’ll make you barons and dukes and earls.”

The music began. It was normal at first – cheap, silly, false. But
Harrison snatched two musicians from their chairs, waved them
like batons as he sang the music as he wanted it played. He
slammed them back into their chairs.

The music began again and was much improved.

Harrison and his Empress merely listened to the music
for a while – listened gravely, as though synchronizing their
heartbeats with it.

They shifted their weights to their toes.

Harrison placed his big hands on the girl’s tiny waist, letting her
sense the weightlessness that would soon be hers.

And then, in an explosion of joy and grace, into the air they sprang!

Not only were the laws of the land abandoned, but the law of
gravity and the laws of motion as well.

They reeled, whirled, swiveled, flounced, capered, gamboled,
and spun.

They leaped like deer on the moon.

The studio ceiling was thirty feet high, but each leap brought
the dancers nearer to it. It became their obvious intention to
kiss the ceiling.

They kissed it.

And then, neutralizing gravity with love and pure will, they
remained suspended in air inches below the ceiling, and they
kissed each other for a long, long time.

It was then that Diana Moon Glampers, the Handicapper General,
came into the studio with a double-barreled ten-gauge
shotgun. She fired twice, and the Emperor and the Empress were
dead before they hit the floor.

Diana Moon Glampers loaded the gun again. She aimed it at the
musicians and told them they had ten seconds to get their
handicaps back on.

It was then that the Bergerons’ television tube burned out.

Hazel turned to comment about the blackout to George.

But George had gone out into the kitchen for a can of beer.

George came back in with the beer, paused while a handicap
signal shook him up. And then he sat down again. “You been
crying?” he said to Hazel.

“Yup,” she said,

“What about?” he said.

“I forget,” she said. “Something real sad on television.”

“What was it?” he said.

“It’s all kind of mixed up in my mind,” said Hazel.

“I always do,” said Hazel.

“That’s my girl,” said George. He winced. There was the sound
of a riveting gun in his head.

A leisure centre in Grays, Essex, has been forced to withdraw a blatantly

anti-white promotion after it was revealed that whites were being

charged 60 percent more to go on its lifeguarding course than non-whites.

Mike Baden, chief executive of Impulse Leisure — which runs the leisure

centre — admitted his firm was offering 60 percent off the course fee

to people from ethnic minorities backgrounds because it is “committed

to equal opportunities.”

A Thurrock mum, who asked to remain anonymous, spotted the advert

for the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course, on a noticeboard

at Blackshots Leisure Centre, in Blackshots Lane, Grays.

She had planned to send her daughter, who is white, on the course,

but changed her mind because she could not understand why she

should pay more than someone from another ethnic group.

The leisure centre has now taken down the notice, as the course,

which started in July, has finished.

Baden said: “Impulse Leisure is committed to equal

opportunities. However, people from black and minority

ethnic backgrounds continue to be underrepresented in our

organisation. We have identified we have a lack of employment

applications from black and minority ethnic groups, possibly

because we have basic entry level requirements for job

roles, such as the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. As a way

of potentially boosting applications from black and minority ethnic

groups, we have a policy of providing discounted rates to encourage

the attainment of this qualification within these groups.”

During the 'War on Terror', four times more Americans died at the hands of illegal aliens within the United States than U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past seven years. Illegal aliens continue their own 'killing zone' against Americans in every corner of American society. Three years ago, an illegal alien, after being stopped by police and released three times, Gomez-Garcia, executed Denver Officer Don Young in Denver, Colorado. Another illegal alien, Francisco Montero, with 11 prior stops for drunk driving, killed Dale Englerth in Boulder, Colorado. Yet another illegal alien killed Officer Brian Jackson in Dallas, Texas last year. Another illegal killed Officer Nick Erfle in Phoenix, Arizona. Two more illegals ran over and nearly killed former Colorado University pro-prospect quarterback John Hessler, sending him into a wheelchair for life with severe brain damage. Both illegals fled back to Mexico. Last year, in New Jersey, two illegal aliens executed three black American college students in the back of their heads as they knelt in a vacant alley. Last month, in San Francisco, Edwin Ramos coldly shot Mr. Tony Bologna, 48, and his two sons, Michael, 20, and Mathew 16, while they sat in their cars in traffic. What did all those illegal aliens hold in common? Answer: police arrested every single one of them multiple times. Many sported rap sheets five pages long with felonies, drunken driving, rapes, burglaries, car theft and worse. What else did they hold in common? Answer: every single one of them enjoyed exemption from the law. How did they accomplish freedom from the law? Answer: every one of them lived and worked in a "Sanctuary City" within the United States that gave them immunity from arrest and deportation for their status as illegal aliens. In other words, our laws do not pertain to them. They could drive drunk, drive without a license, drive without insurance, work without papers, not pay taxes and live within the United States totally against our laws. As the Southwest Airlines ad says, "You're free to move about the country!" Who stands guilty of all these deaths? For starters, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, San Francisco's Mayor Newsome, Mayor Gordon of Phoenix, Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago, Mayor Bloomberg in NYC, and my Mayor John Hickenlooper in Denver, Colorado. Every mayor of every sanctuary city stands in direct violation of U.S. federal laws and in direct violation of their oaths of office. Every one of those mayors from the past and into the future stands responsible for killing thousands of American citizens. But last week, the most horrendous of "Sanctuary City" killing crimes occurred in Denver, Colorado. But more than the two adults who lived two-thirds of their lives, Hernandez killed a little boy, Marten Kudlis, three years of age, as he sat on a stool happily licking his ice cream cone. This story turns your stomach. It sickens your heart. It leaves a sour taste in your mouth. It grinds at your senses. It bedevils your sense of right and wrong. Why do you obey our laws, but our own elected officials refuse their obligations to serve and enforce our statues? Even Colorado Governor Ritter gave hundreds of known drug dealers 'agricultural trespass' that allowed them back onto the streets during his tenure as Denver's district attorney. That three year old child Marten never stood a chance against a career criminal because Mayor John Hickenlooper offers 'sanctuary' for illegal aliens in Denver. In fact, even more horrific, Hickenlooper owned the "Cherry Cricket Restaurant" where the killer Gomez-Garcia worked when he shot Denver Officer Don Young. But it doesn't end there--Hickenlooper stood by as another young man, husband and father, Justin Goodman died at the hands of another illegal alien three years ago-by a hit and run illegal with a five page rap sheet but no deportation. Added to that, Denver suffers 12,000 gang members, mostly illegal aliens-that Hickenlooper allows immunity from prosecution via his "Sanctuary Policy". According to Joseph Farrah, World Net Daily, September 5, 2008, "Though no federal statistics are kept on murders or any other crimes committed by illegal aliens, a number of groups have produced estimates based on data collected from prisons, news reports and independent research. "Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens. That's 21,900 since Sept. 11, 2001. "The carnage wrought by illegal alien murderers represents only a fraction of the pool of blood spilled by American citizens as a result of an open border and un-enforced immigration laws. "While King reports 12 Americans are murdered daily by illegal aliens, he says 13 are killed by drunk illegal alien drivers for another annual death toll of 4,745. That's 23,725 since Sept. 11, 2001. What if Marten Kudlis had been my son, my only son, as he was the Kudlis' only child? I find my sense of reason, logic and rational action defeated by these men in office, not only as mayors of cities, but all the way to the U.S. House, Senate and President Bush himself. As we suffer invasion by upwards of 20 million illegal aliens overrunning our communities, those men in high office do nothing to stop it. They not only refuse to uphold their oaths of office, they, instead--aid, abet and assist illegal aliens to kill American citizens and wreak havoc on our communities and lives. racism remains one of the nation’s most pressing social problems – albeit

in a different form, according to a new book co-written and edited

by a Michigan State University scholar.

Skin color has come to replace race as an important cause of

discrimination, Ronald Hall, associate professor of social work,

says in “Racism in the 21st Century.” The book, published by

Springer, will be available Friday.

He said discrimination based on skin color – which some

call “colorism” – is a centuries-old product of Western

colonialism. But it has long remained a taboo subject, he said, even

as the civil rights movement of the 1950s and ’60s dominated the public

discourse and ultimately led to significant gains.

“The civil rights movement was successful because we knew

who the enemy was,” Hall said. “This is very covert. I think it’s a huge

problem because it’s so insidious and so subtle. It’s kind of like

that music in a doctor’s office: It’s there but no one really notices it.”

The unchecked flow of illegal border-hoppers from the south is washing

over us like a Texas flash flood. It negatively impacts our bottom line,

greatly compromises our security, and erodes our national identity…

but what nobody's talking about is how serious a public health issue it is.

They're trying to cheat the system, but in the end, you're the one who

pays. Maybe you don't know this, but all immigrants who want to qualify

for their green cards have to go through a thorough testing

process. Basically, they have to prove that they don't have any

contagious diseases or drug addictions.

Do you have any idea how rampant diseases are in Third World countries

that don't have the same sanitary conditions and health care available to

them? Our screening process is in place to keep us all safe. Whether people

choose to accept it or not, the truth is that too many of the illegals who

"bypass" this testing process are coming into this country with more

than just their "dream of a better life"-they're also bringing very

contagious, and sometimes very deadly, diseases.

If you're not worried, you should be. Think about where these illegals

work, like chicken factories, fast-food restaurants, and other places

where they handle YOUR food. Or where their children go to

school-that's right, they're sitting right next to your children and

grandchildren, sneezing all over them in class. Now do you see why

I'm so concerned?

The immigration crisis is finally front and center on our national

stage-so much so that politicians from both sides of the aisle are

being forced to reckon with it (or at least talk about reckoning with

it). But this is no cause for celebration. I still say they're overlooking

Reverse discrimination strains troubled budget

Budget deficits have been a way of life for Wisconsin in recent

times. Earlier this year, state lawmakers scrambled to pass a repair

bill designed to close a $652 million shortfall in the current state

budget running through June 2009. When work begins on the next

biennial budget, the governor and Legislature will be staring a

$1.6 billion structural deficit in the face.

Unfortunately, the state Department of Administration may not have

noticed. In May, officials there awarded a $29.5 million contract to the

construction firm Shaw-Lundquist Associates, Inc. to renovate and

expand a science building on the University of Wisconsin-Stout

campus. The bid from Shaw-Lundquist won despite coming in $1.3

million above the lowest bidder.

State officials do not claim the extra $1.3 million will result in a better-

constructed science building. Rather, they ponied up the extra money

because Shaw-Lundquist is a minority-owned business. The company,

located in St. Paul, Minn., was founded in the 1970s by a Chinese

immigrant who now goes by the name of Fred Shaw.

In giving the nod to Shaw-Lundquist, officials invoked a 1984 law that

allows ¬— though does not require ¬— the state to award contracts to

qualified minority-owned firms so long as their bid comes within 5 percent

of the lowest bidder. Last year, the Doyle administration made it a

requirement if the bid still comes in under the state’s projected cost.

Shaw-Lundquist’s $29.5 million bid came in below the $33 million the

state estimated for the UW-Stout project. Neenah-based Miron

Construction Co. submitted the lowest bid at $28.2 million, or 4.5

percent less than Shaw-Lundquist’s. Another Wisconsin firm submitted

a bid between the two.

The size of the price differential ¬— $1.3 million — is raising eyebrows at

the Capitol. Sen. Glenn Grothman, R-West Bend, has called for a special

session of the Legislature to eliminate racial preferences in the awarding

of state contracts.

State Rep. Dean Kaufert, R-Neenah, has taken a less aggressive

approach. Kaufert, who represents the district where low-bidder

Miron is located, says the policy should be tweaked to avoid benefiting

thriving minority-owned firms that need no special help. A cap should

be established to limit the program to businesses under a certain

size, he says.

Indeed, though Shaw-Lundquist is not as large as the two Wisconsin

companies that underbid it, it is not a small business. It claims to be

the largest minority-owned construction contractor in the Midwest

and largest Asian-owned contractor in the nation, boasting more than

$75 million in annual revenue.

Kaufert’s notion that nuance is needed in affirmative action programs is

not unique. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has

acknowledged that blindly elevating race above other factors — such as

class — may not always make sense. Asked last year whether his

daughters, whose parents both hold advanced degrees and earn far

more than the average American, should be given preferential treatment

from college admissions officers, he admitted they “should probably

be treated” the same as other children from privileged backgrounds.

The Doyle administration would do well to explain why Shaw-Lundquist

is any different than Obama’s daughters. With $75 million in annual

revenue and a track record spanning back decades, it can hardly be

said the firm could not compete without special treatment. Similarly,

the notion of diversity — which is used to justify race-based affirmative

action irrespective of economic status — cannot be claimed in the

context of a construction contract. (I make the small assumption that

Shaw has noplans to move his personal residence to the new

UW-Stout science building.)

The ultimate insult, of course, is that the Shaw-Lundquist contract wil

l line the coffers of a Minnesota-based company, instead of supporting a

company like Miron that is located in — and employs residents

of — Wisconsin.

But hey, when a state is in as good of financial shape as Wisconsin is, why

would we worry about such things anyway?

NAPLES — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with

federal agents to arrest 25 criminal aliens, including two known

gang members, during a two-day operation.

The Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Alien Task Force recently completed

40 investigations that were approved for arrest by the U.S.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Collier sheriff’s

Cpl. Mike Williams said.

On Aug. 28 and 29, teams of Collier deputies and ICE agents from

Fort Myers searched Collier County and made 25 arrests.

“Every single one of these people had a criminal history,” Williams

said. “Some were sex offenders, two were gang members - one

LaRaza and one Sur13 - many had arrests for cocaine and marijuana

trafficking, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault and battery. ...

We knew exactly who we wanted to get.”

Included in the arrests were: Emanuel Alce, 28, a Bahamian national

who was ordered removed by an immigration judge in January;

Woodley Delva, 22, a Haitian national and registered sex offender

previously convicted of lewd and lascivious battery who was

sentenced to a year in jail and two years’ probation; Julio

Ledezma-Vasquez, 40, a Mexican national convicted of trafficking

cocaine; and Francisco Francisco, 38, a Guatemalan national

convicted of drug offenses.

The nationalities of the others taken into custody weren’t released.

One woman, whose name wasn’t released, was issued a notice to appear

in court instead of jailed because she had a 17-year-old daughter she

needed to tend to, Williams said.

Of the 40 criminal aliens the deputies and ICE agents were looking

for, 15 still are sought.

“Some of them have left the area, we found out,” Williams said. “Some

of them we haven’t been able to find yet. They’re criminals. By nature

they’re very difficult to find.”

The criminal aliens located so far are being held at ICE facilities

across the state, ICE spokeswoman Nicole Navas said.

ICE is prosecuting two of the cases along with the Bureau of Alcohol,

Tobacco and Firearms because the men who were arrested had guns.

Other than Alce, who already had been ordered removed from the

country, all the criminal aliens arrested will face an immigration

judge, Navas said.

Collier deputies make similar arrests every week, Williams said, but

don’t usually ask for ICE’s assistance.

“We wanted ICE down because we had a lot to get,” he said.

Collier deputies are able to conduct immigration operations because

about a year ago more than two dozen of them were trained by ICE

to identify criminal aliens and initiate removal proceedings from the

country. The training is allowed under section 287(g) of the

Immigration and Nationality Act.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office was the first in Florida to partner

with ICE in the 287(g) program, followed by the Bay County, Brevard

County, Jacksonville-area and Manatee County sheriff’s offices this

summer.

“They can actually issue the charging documents and make an

immigration, administration arrest,” Navas said of the local

deputies. “It’s definitely been successful.”

Some Facts On How Illegals "Contribute" To America

Justice Dept. Figures on Incarcerated Illegals

One of the more popular claims by illegal immigration proponents

is that those who enter the U.S. by breaking the law are invariably

"hard-working" and "law-abiding" once they get here.

That argument, however, has one major flaw. According to Justice

Department statistics and the analysis of immigration experts, the

"law-abiding" claim often isn't true.

As Investors Business Daily reported in March 2005:

"The U.S. Justice Department estimated that 270,000 illegal

immigrants served jail time nationally in 2003. Of those, 108,000

were in California. Some estimates show illegals now make up half

of California's prison population, creating a massive criminal

subculture that strains state budgets and creates a nightmare

for local police forces."

Citing an Urban Institute study, director of research for the Center

for Immigration Studies Steven Camorata noted in 2004: "Roughly

17 percent of the prison population at the federal level are illegal

aliens. That's a huge number since illegal aliens only account for

about 3 percent of the total population."

Former California Gov. Pete Wilson places the percentage of illegal

aliens in U.S. prisons even higher. In 2001, he told Fox News

Channel's Bill O'Reilly:

"We had problems related to the costs of educating children who

were acknowledged to be in the country illegally, healthcare costs. One

in five in our prison population were illegal immigrants who had been

convicted of a felony after entering the country illegally."

The Federation for American Immigration Reform also turned to

the Justice Department to get statistics on criminal aliens. They

report:

"In March 2000, Congress made public Department of Justice statistics

showing that, over the previous five years, the INS had released over

35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them. Over 11,000 of those

released went on to commit serious crimes, over 1,800 of which were

violent ones [including 98 homicides, 142 sexual assaults, and 44

kidnappings].

"In 2001, thanks to a decision by the Supreme Court, the INS was

forced to release into our society over 3,000 criminal aliens [who

collectively had been convicted of 125 homicides, 387 sex offenses, and

772 assault charges]."

Up to a third of the U.S. federal prison population is composed of

non-citizens, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons statistics - but

not all non-citizen prison inmates are illegal aliens.

As to the "hard-working" claim, CIS notes: "The proportion of

immigrant-headed households using at least one major welfare

program is 24.5 percent compared to 16.3 percent for native

households."

Investor's Business Daily concurs: "Once [illegals] get here, they

are 50 percent more likely to be on welfare than citizens."

I found it amusing when I read the words of the son of one of

those detained in the illegal immigration raid in Laurel, Miss.

“ ‘We have kids without dads and pregnant mothers who got their

husbands taken away,’ said Velez’s son Robert, youth pastor at the

church. ‘It was like a horror story. They got handled like they

were criminals.’ ”

Well, duh! They are criminals. Illegal immigration is still illegal in

this country despite the protestations to the contrary by many. Illegal

aliens nearly always refer to themselves as simply “immigrants” and

their supporters nearly always refer to them as “immigrants, just like

our forefathers” or something similar.

The statistics surrounding this huge national problem are

shocking. Nobody seems to know exactly how many illegal aliens

are in this country, but most observers put the number at somewhere

the entire population of Alabama.

The sad thing about the whole mess is that most people have no idea

just how much this illegal alien problem costs us. Every taxpayer helps

to support these people in one way or another. Think health care at

emergency rooms, subsidized housing, loss of taxes due to nonpayment

and many other things.

It would seem that most Americans could look around them and observe

the economic mess the country is in right now. This alone should open

their eyes to how much worse this mess is due to the presence of

illegal aliens.

I have a problem. On Aug. 14, an article ["NAACP: County losing

trust in officials"] was printed on the NAACP. The problem is that

the paper printed and quoted [Prince George's County NAACP

president June White] Dillard saying, "We had gotten out of our

redneck, blue-collar mentality."

I know that this statement was quoted, but in no way should white

people be defamed in this manner. If someone were to drop the

N-bomb, I am sure that it would not be printed in its full entirety. I

believe that it is wrong for anyone to be racist, and that anyone

would enable others to read and believe that that is OK. That is

called reverse racism. The Gazette prides itself that they do not

publish letters that are not libelous and that do not constitute a

personal act, but I guess that The Gazette has no problem quoting it.

drew hundreds of people from the Nigerian business elite. Each paid

more than $2,000 to munch on grilled snails, sip from flutes of Veuve

Cliquot and Moet & Chandon and join in a lively, if poorly executed,

series of the “fist bumps” popularized by Obama and his wife, Michelle.

Interest in the U.S. presidential race is blooming around the world’s

poorest continent ( Meaning they expect more aid than ever

since he's Black) as Obama emerges as the Democratic candidate,

stunning many here who never believed that a son of Africa had a real

shot at leading the United States. Now, with roasted snails and

Champagne, text messages and T-shirts, both political organizers

and entrepreneurs are seeking to harness the growing enthusiasm

for Obama’s message of youthful change, which resonates on a

continent where leaders often hang on as long as possible.

“In Africa, we just keep recycling the same old people, so change isn’t

welcome. Let people who are unique, who are young, who have

ideas — let them come up,” said Robinson Allen, a 40-year old banker

at a recent gala in support of Obama. He said Obama’s achievements

show a triumph over discrimination (Another swipe at America as

being such a "racist" nation for Blacks). “It’s an event that’s

enabling for all people.” ( He means one race in particular )

The group says it plans to use the proceeds for advertisements in African

media urging people to pray for Obama. The message, according to one

organizer: “We can’t vote for you, but we can pray for you.” Similar

efforts are under way in Tanzania, South Africa and Kenya, organizers

said.

Another Nigerian group, “Blacks Unite for Obama 08,” (This verifies

race does matter in this election. Remember 90 % of

American Blacks voted for Obama in the primaries too. And

their political persuasion did not matter in voting for him. See

the links below ) is running full-page ads in the country’s mass dailies

asking customers to send text messages costing about 75 cents in support

of Obama, while registering to win a trip to the United States.

In Ghana, songs boosting Obama run on the radio. An artist called

Blakk Rasta sings in pidgin English of his pride at Obama’s quest:

“Originally stepping out of Kenya, Africa/Adopted into the cold

woodlands of America/Dem youthboy defied every order and

turned a Senator.” ( Cold woodlands ? Defied every order ?

Must be another nonsensical whine about how "racist"

America is for Blacks.)

And in Uganda, about 5,000 students at Makarere University have

joined the Obama Solidarity Group, essentially a fan club for the

candidate. Its leader, Patrick Rutalo, cited Obama’s example in his

own successful drive for student body president. “He inspires young

leaders to go for the highest offices,” said Rutalo.

In fact, the Obama infatuation seems to have somewhat annoyed

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, who told Ugandans to turn

their attention in more self-fulfilling directions. “Obama, Obama,

Obama. He is an American. Why are you looking at him and not

yourself? Why don’t you build your strength here?” Museveni said

at a news conference. ( Finally an African that is talking some

sense in this article.)

The interest in Obama may be highest in Kenya, where his father was

born and lived before traveling to study in the United States. There,

vendors sell T-shirts, key chains, banners and hats to capitalize on the

popularity of the candidate locals consider practically a native son.

A Curious Madness

‘Gilded honour shamefully misplaced.’

A curious state of madness descended on the country on October 24,
and began to dissipate only by the first week of November. Americans
lavished the praise and honor reserved only for supreme heroes on
a woman whose sole achievement was to refuse to give up her seat
on a bus.

From the moment Rosa Parks died at the age of 92, until she was
buried nine days later, virtually every politician and organ of the media
competed to see who could heap the most praise on a woman invariably
referred to as a “civil rights icon.” She became only the 30th person —
and the first woman — to lie in state in the Capitol rotunda, where
President George Bush laid a wreath. Her casket was accompanied by
a military honor guard for memorial services in Washington, before
she was buried on November 2 in a seven-hour funeral in Detroit. The
President ordered that all flags over federal buildings and bases fly at
half mast. It was an astonishing tribute to a woman whose lifetime of
achievement began and ended in one afternoon.

The myth that has grown up around Rosa Parks is of an exhausted
Birmingham seamstress who, in 1955, was too tired to give up her
seat and move to the colored section so a white man could sit
down. According to the myth, this spontaneous act sparked the
Montgomery bus boycott and launched the civil rights movement. In
the miles of column inches that greeted the news of her death, there
were only hints of what really happened.

In fact, Parks’s decision to keep her seat was carefully
planned by the NAACP, for which she had worked for 10
years as a secretary. Her arrest did help start the bus
boycott, but she played no role in organizing it. And though
the boycott has gone down in folklore as a great blow for
freedom, it did not even succeed; it was a court order that
integrated Birmingham’s buses.

Several black women had already done exactly what Parks
later did. They were arrested and charged with minor
infractions. Parks’s best known predecessor was Claudette
Colvin, a 15-year-old high school student who refused to
give up her seat on March 2, 1955. She was arrested and
taken off the bus kicking and screaming. Police say she was
screaming obscenities; she later claimed she was screaming
that her constitutional rights were being violated. Not even
Miss Colvin’s case was the spontaneous act for which Parks
is now generally remembered. The girl had been active in
the NAACP Youth Council, and had even discussed strategy
with Rosa Parks herself.

The NAACP considered basing a desegregation case on the
basis of Miss Colvin’s arrest but soon decided she was not
an attractive plaintiff. She was dark, and many blacks
wanted a lighter-skinned spokesman. The NAACP also
learned she was several months pregnant by a married
man, and discovered her habit of breaking out in volleys
of curses. This was not a girl conservative black
church-goers would support.

As E.D. Nixon, then a leader of the Montgomery chapter of the
NAACP, explained years later, “I had to be sure that I had somebody
I could win with.” Rosa Parks was far more promising: “morally
clean, reliable, nobody had nothing on her.”

The NAACP had been planning a bus boycott for years, and
was waiting only for the right person to act as figurehead. Far
from being an accidental hero, Parks was carefully groomed for her
role. A white integrationist, Virginia Durr, had paid for Parks
to attend civil rights strategy seminars at the Highlander Folk
School in Tennessee. The school, known to be rife with
Communist sympathizers, was under FBI surveillance.

Moreover, Parks’s role was strictly limited: keep her seat and hold her
tongue. Others swung into action immediately to organize the
boycott. The very day she was arrested — it was a Thursday — an
English professor at all-black Alabama State College named Jo Ann
Robinson stayed up all night mimeographing 35,000 leaflets calling
for a one-day bus boycott the following Monday. On Friday, she and
her students secretly leafleted elementary and high schools. As part
of a coordinated effort, Montgomery’s black preachers met and agreed
to endorse the Monday boycott from their pulpits, and to hold a mass
meeting Monday night at Holt Street Baptist Church to assess the
results. That evening, after a surprisingly successful boycott, thousands
of blacks crowded into and around the church to hear 26-year-old
Martin Luther King give his first public speech. The boycott lasted for
more than a year, with both the blacks and the bus company more
stubborn than anyone had expected. Blacks organized carpools that
even the Citizens Council had to admit operated with “military
precision.” Parks played no role in any of this.

It was not the boycott that eventually brought integration, but a court
case — and one in which Rosa Parks was not even a plaintiff. In Browder
v. Gayle — one of the four plaintiffs was foul-mouthed Claudette
Colvin — a three-panel district court in Birmingham ruled on June
19, 1956 that segregated buses were as much a violation of the 14th
Amendment as segregated schools. The Supreme Court upheld the
decision in December. Then, and only then, did Montgomery agree
to integrate its buses.

It can be argued, therefore, that the boycott was both a failure and
unnecessary. Rosa Parks was a catalyst in organizing what turned
into an impressive demonstration of black solidarity, but virtually
anyone presentable would have served equally well. Rosa Parks did
not risk death. She did not face fire hoses or police dogs. She did not
even face humiliation. She knew very well that if she was polite and
cooperated with the police she would be treated courteously. She
also knew that the NAACP and her white friends would immediately
bail her out of jail.

It is impossible, even by the most sympathetic reading, to see Rosa
Parks as anything but an unimportant actor in a drama that was not
even necessary. Not once, in the intervening 50 years, did she do
anything of the slightest importance. Black congressman John Conyers
gave her a job in his Detroit office, apparently more out of courtesy
than because of her abilities. As she grew older, she mismanaged her
finances, and depended on a local church to pay her rent. Eventually,
her landlord simply stopped charging.

Rosa Parks has dined out — and become a hero of
American history — on the basis of a single half hour of
immobility. Surely, never in the history of the world, has
so small an act won such praise.

The last few years have been building up to the extraordinary
excesses we have just witnessed. In 1996, President William
Clinton presented Parks with the Presidential Medal of
Freedom, and in 1999, Congress voted her its Gold
Medal. These, too, are exalted honors.

Blacks are not likely to complain if whites make a demigod
of an unimportant woman, but why do whites bow their
heads before such transparent fraud? There is no satisfactory
answer. Americans are never happier than when glorifying
non-whites who have denounced the alleged sins of
whites. The adulation of Rosa Parks is just another chapter
in the lemming-like rush to destruction whites everywhere
appear to have joined. If a still-majority-white Congress and
Senate can vote by acclamation to make Rosa Parks the first woman
to lie in state in the rotunda, any act of racial self-mortification is possible.

Harvard Hates The White Race?

Is the multicultural campaign really about diversity? Or is it about stamping

out Western civilization and the “white race” itself?

College students will tell you that a university education today is a guilt trip

for whites. The purpose is to prevent whites from appreciating and absorbing

their own culture and to make it difficult for whites to resist the unreasonable

demands (quotas, reparations, etc.) from “people of color.”

To the questions, “who am I, what am I,” the white university graduate

answers: “a racist, sexist, homophobic oppressor.”

Neither parents, trustees, alumni, nor the public are aware of the anti-white

propaganda that masquerades as education. When someone who is aware

tells them, they think the person is exaggerating in order to make a point.

Now comes Harvard educated Noel Ignatiev, an academic at Harvard’s

W.E.B. DuBois Institute for African-American Research. Dr. Ignatiev is

the founder of a journal, Race Traitor, which has as its motto, “treason to

whiteness is loyalty to humanity.”

The journal’s purpose is “to abolish the white race.”

At the least, Dr. Ignatiev intends cultural and psychological genocide for

whites. It is unclear whether physical extermination is part of the program. A

statement by the editors on the web site says that the new abolitionists

“do not limit themselves to socially acceptable means of

protest, but reject in advance no means of attaining

their goal.”

Dr. Ignatiev does not believe his agenda is controversial. He writes:

“The goal of abolishing the white race is on its face so desirable

that some may find it hard to believe that it could incur any

opposition other than from committed white supremacists.”

Thus does he put whites on notice. If they oppose their

abolition, they are “white supremacists.”

According to Dr. Ignatiev,

“The key to solving the social problems of our age is to

abolish the white race.”

“Make no mistake about it,” he says,

“we intend to keep bashing the dead white males, and the

live ones, and the females too, until the social construct

known as ‘the white race’ is destroyed--not ‘deconstructed’

but destroyed.”

What “social construct” will be left? A black one? An Hispanic one? Muslim?

Asian? What about Jewish?

The Washington Times reports that Dr. Ignatiev is himself Jewish. If Jewish

intellectuals and Israeli political leaders can be believed, Jews have a cultural

and racial consciousness. Israel is the Jewish homeland, and Israelis seem

determined to keep it that way. Can anyone imagine a gentile at an Israeli

university founding a magazine devoted to abolishing the Jewish race?

Yet, Dr. Ignatiev believes that it is self-evident that whites in their homelands

should be abolished.

Where did he get this view? His only education was at Harvard where he received

two graduate degrees.

Is Harvard embarrassed? No. Dr. Ignatiev [ignatiev@fas.harvard.edu] is showcased

in the current issue of Harvard Magazine. Getting rid of whiteness is not controversial

at Harvard, because it is the business of American universities.

A white skin, you see, is a mark of privilege. It is not the privilege of being admitted

to Harvard even though you don’t meet the entrance requirements. It is not the

privilege of being hired independently of ability because of government enforced

racial quotas. It is not the privilege of being able to sue whites and “white companies”

if blacks are not proportionately represented in the work force. It is not the privilege

of being able to call whites every name in the book and sue if a white replies in kind.

The privilege of being white is that whites can secretly believe they are superior

and, as long as they don’t mention it, be loyal to the white race.

“The white race is like a private club,” says Dr. Ignatiev.

I am sure Dr. Ignatiev is well-informed, but I see no signs of this white

loyalty. Most of the multiculturalists and radical feminists are white. Whites

disadvantaged whites by imposing racial quotas. Despite widespread opposition

to quotas, neither “white” political party will act to stop unconstitutional quotas,

which have made a mockery of equality under law. Whites are inundated by massive

non-white immigration, and neither “white” political party will act to restrain

immigration. To the contrary, both parties pander to the immigrants.

But Dr. Ignatiev has an idea like Hitler. A race is guilty and must go. The

communists said it was a guilty class that had to go.

If you thought genocide was left behind in the 20th century, be apprised

that today genocide has a home in the educational system.

Which serves the interests of the black community better: a black
student admitted to a top-tier law school, such as Harvard, Stanford
or Yale, and winds up in the bottom 10 percent of his class, flunks
out, or cannot pass the bar examination, or a black student admitted
to a far less prestigious law school, performs just as well as his white
peers, graduates and passes the bar? I, and hopefully any other
American, would say that doing well and graduating from a less
prestigious law school is preferable to doing poorly and flunking
out of a prestigious one.

Professor Gail Heriot, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights commissioner
and member of the University of San Diego law faculty, addresses
academic mismatch in her article “Affirmative Action in American
Law Schools,” in The Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues (2008).

Citing UCLA law professor Richard Sander’s research, professor Heriot
says that at elite law schools 52 percent of black students had first-year
grades that put them in the bottom 10 percent of their class as opposed
to 7 percent white students. Black students had a higher failing and
dropout rate, 19 percent compared to 8 percent for white students. Only
45 percent of blacks passed the bar exam on their first try compared
with 78 percent of whites. Even after multiple attempts, only 57 percent
of blacks succeeded in passing the bar.

For all you supporters and sympathizers of illegal aliens who are

not immigrants until they become U.S. citizens, take a Native American

history course and discover and learn what the Native Americans went

through when they welcomed foreigners to this continent.

How they were overwhelmed, mistreated, corrupted and introduced to

foreign matter not healthy for their culture. They were forced to adopt

European ways and customs, and some could not adapt so they perished.

Do I need to give up my heritage and adapt to Central American customs

and ways in order to live and survive in my native country? The one that

I was born in!

Let's go help these people on their own soil. There are Americans

struggling to make ends meet also, but nobody employed by The

Standard-Times does continuous feature articles on them, least not on

the front page. Our government does not rapidly respond to the need

of its citizens either.

A once powerful nation of proud people with respect for all living creatures

Lakewood man was beaten with bat

LAKEWOOD — Four Hackett Street men were charged Tuesday

in connection with the assault of a township man and are being held

in lieu of bail and on immigration detainers, police said.

About 8 p.m. Aug. 23, Officer Kelly Zrebiec responded to a report

of a fight and discovered Anselmo Mendoza of Lakewood beaten with

a baseball bat and a shovel, said Detective Lt. Joseph Isnardi. Detectives

Oscar Valmon and Steve Wexler investigated the assault and arrested

four men about 6 p.m. Tuesday at their home in the 600 block

of Hackett Street.

Ezequiel Ramirez-Garcia, 24, and brothers Jose Alvarado-Gonzalez, 22,

and Rudolfo Alvarado-Gonzalez, 19, were each charged with aggravated

assault, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful

purpose. A fourth man, Sylvester Ramos-Ruiz, was charged with making

terroristic threats.

Police said that Ramirez-Garcia struck Mendoza with a shovel, and

the Alvarado-Gonzalez brothers both struck him with a baseball

bat, police said.

Mendoza suffered a head laceration and required both staples and

stitches to close his wounds, Isnardi said.

Another Lakewood man, Samuel Mendoza, was also injured when he

was struck with a shovel, police said. The relationship between Anselmo

and Samuel is unknown, police said. Both were taken to Kimball Medical

Center, here, for treatment.

All four suspects are undocumented illegal aliens and have been

issued no-bail detainers by Immigration and Customs Enforcement to keep

them in jail until immigration matters can be clarified, police said. The

Alvarado-Gonzalez brothers and Ramirez-Garcia are each being held in

lieu of $75,000 bail with no 10 percent option. Ramos-Ruiz's bail is set at

$10,000 with no 10 percent option.

ST. CLAIR TWP — An 18-year-old man was charged by Butler

County sheriff' deputies Tuesday night, Sept. 2, for allegedly

having sex with a girl who was found naked in the trunk of his car.

Ramon S. Padilla, of South Seventh Street, was arrested shortly

after 9 p.m. on charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a

fourth-degree felony, obstructing official business, a fifth-degree

felony, and criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, for apparently

having sex with a 13-year-old Hamilton girl in a vehicle parked

on Warwick Road in St. Clair Twp., according to the sheriff's office.

Sgt. Monte Mayer said deputies were called to the location on a

report of a suspicious vehicle. When they approached the vehicle,

deputies said they found Padilla, partially clothed, in the back

seat surrounded by woman's clothing.

"He gave several stories before they found the girl in the trunk,"

Mayer said. The hiding girl was found naked, but unharmed.

Padilla, who is believed to be an illegal immigrant, was booked into

the Butler County Jail. He is also be held on an Immigration and

Customs Enforcement holder.

The girl was released to her family.

Diversity Has Failed

Why are race relations still such a problem ?

In the 1960s, during the “civil rights era,” Americans tried to build
a nation in which race would no longer matter, and people of all
backgrounds would live together in harmony. It is now clear that
the assumptions of the civil rights movement were wrong.

Race Matters

Race matters. It is part of human biology. Each of us is often
conscious of race, and for good reason. A neighborhood or school
that is overwhelmingly black is different from one that is
white—or Hispanic or Vietnamese. These differences are
important, and explain why most people prefer the company of
people like themselves. This is natural, normal, and healthy.

It is clear that people of different races have, on average, different
levels of intelligence. Affirmative action and remedial education
cannot make us all the same. Policies based on the assumption that
race can be made not to matter have failed. We must, instead,
recognize the importance of race and racial identity.

The Demographic Future

If massive non-white immigration continues, whites will become a
minority in the United States. This would transform our nation and
sweep away our way of life. Already whites refuse to live in those
parts of the country where blacks or Hispanics are the majority. Why
must we turn more parts of America into places where we would not
want to live? We must not leave to our grandchildren a Third-World
nation with a Third-World population.

Time to Speak Out

Unless the European-American majority defends its legitimate
interests, Western Civilization will slowly fade from this
continent. American Renaissance speaks for the majority,and
for the culture that the majority alone will cherish and preserve.
Today, we face a crisis as serious as any our forefathers ever
faced. What is at stake is no less than the future of our nation.

All pupils aged between 11 and 14 will be taught about the slave

trade and the British empire when term begins next month to

help them understand modern-day issues such as immigration.

Holocaust as periods that must form part of the history syllabus.

integral part of British history. It is inextricably linked

to trade, colonisation, industrialisation and the

switch is to "put immigration, the Commonwealth and the legacy of

the Empire into a clear historical context...This can help pupils

prepare for life in a diverse and multi-ethnic society".

Somalians 'won't integrate'

A Somalian woman who came to Norway more than 10 years ago

is harshly criticizing her fellow Somalian immigrants and Norwegian

authorities. In a new book, she claims Somalians themselves don't

want to integrate into Norwegian society, and that Norwegian

welfare programs make it easy for them to remain isolated.

The book written by Amal Aden, a pseudonym for the Somalian

author, is already creating an uproar. Amal Aden wouldn't use her

own name because of fears for her own safety.

In an interview with newspaper Aftenposten, the author said

she hopes to launch a new debate on immigration and what can

be done to further integration.

"I wrote the book in the hopes that children will get better lives,"

she said. "I want to see more integration, and the responsibility

for that lies with the Somalians themselves and with the authorities."

She claims that resistance to integration is widespread

especially among Somalian men, who fear losing their

culture and religion. Many are afraid of Norwegians and

view them as infidels who can't be trusted. ( Yet it is

okay for them to dilute Norways culture, and attack

it and it's religion with their radical Islam ? And if

It was the quintessential college scene: dozens of students from the

Harvard Black Men's Forum and the Association of Black Harvard

Women picnicking on the Radcliffe Quad, playing capture-the-flag

and running relay races at their end-of-the-year field day.

But just an hour into the festivities on the sunny afternoon in May

2007, the fun screeched to a halt. Two campus police officers rode

up on motorcycles. Were they students, the officers asked. Did they

have permission to be there?

The young men and women, dressed in Harvard T-shirts, would

discover that a fellow student in a nearby dorm had mistaken them

for trespassers, according to students who were there and whose

account was confirmed by Harvard officials.

The incident, which ignited criticism from black students and faculty,

highlighted the prejudices that many black students say they continue

to face at Harvard, not only from police, but from classmates, as well.

Leaders of black student and faculty groups say they hope that

Harvard's review of campus Police Department practices will help

spark a wide-ranging conversation about the racial climate on campus

and lead to other concrete steps by the university to improve it. The

review, announced Tuesday, follows long-standing complaints of

racial profiling by police.

In the anti-white mania which has gripped modern Britain, the Atlantic

Slave Trade is to be given wide prominence in schools from this term

onwards — but the million Europeans who were enslaved by Muslims

in North Africa between 1530 and 1780 will be ignored.

The untold story of the million whites enslaved by non-whites is covered

in a new book by Robert Davis, professor of history at Ohio State

University. He developed a unique methodology to calculate the number

of white Christians who were enslaved along Africa’s Barbary Coast,

arriving at much higher slave population estimates than any previous

studies had found.

Most other accounts of slavery along the Barbary coast didn’t try to

estimate the number of slaves, or only looked at the number of slaves

in particular cities, Davis said.

Most previously estimated slave counts have thus tended to be in the

thousands, or at most in the tens of thousands. Davis, by contrast, has

calculated that between 1 million and 1.25 million European Christians

were captured and forced to work in North Africa from the 16th to

18th centuries.

Davis’s new estimates appear in the book Christian Slaves, Muslim

Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast,

and Italy, 1500-1800 (Palgrave Macmillan).
